Consumer products
Consumer products are products that we use in our everyday lives. Their purpose and method of use can be very different, and so can their composition. When using them, each individual is in direct or indirect contact with them. At our laboratory, we perform chemical and microbiological analyses, and assess whether the substances, from which individual products are made, can affect health. Individual fields are subject to regulations and provisions regarding their safety, and we determine their compliance and safety in accordance with the requirements of legislation, standards, and professional recommendations, taking into account the intended purpose and method of use of each individual product.

At its 19th regular session on 25 July 2013, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the Decision on the Establishment of the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food (NLZOH). According to this government decision, all regional Institutes of Public Health ceased to exist on the day of the establishment of the NLZOH.
